Partnership with Parents
and Carers

At our nursery, we believe that working closely with parents is key to providing the best care for your child. Your thoughts, suggestions, and feedback are always valued, and we make it a priority to consult with you regularly.

During your child’s settling-in period, you will meet their keyperson, who will spend time learning about your child from you. This includes understanding their routines, sleep patterns, dietary preferences, play interests, and general behaviour. By sharing this information, we can ensure that your child feels happy, secure, and settled while at nursery.

You will receive updates on our Famly platform with lots of photos about what your child is enjoying. We also keep in touch through weekly newsletters and our parents’ board in the entrance, which provides up-to-date information locally. From time to time, we send out questionnaires so you can share your thoughts and help us continually improve.

Parents are always welcome to visit and join in nursery activities. We also encourage open conversations with your child’s keyperson and the team, particularly during our annual parents’ evenings, where we can discuss your child’s progress in more detail.
