At Wonderland, we believe that a child’s early experiences should be happy, stimulating and enjoyable. Young children learn most effectively when they feel safe and secure, giving them the confidence to be active, to play and explore, and to develop creative and critical thinking skills through both indoor and outdoor experiences.
Regular circle times and small group activities provide valuable opportunities for focused learning, such as recognising their own name, developing early number skills, exploring phonics and talking about emotions. These sessions also allow time for children to share their news and express their thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment.
We value and respect diversity and carefully plan a range of inclusive activities, including cooking experiences, to help children develop an understanding of different cultures, customs and traditions. Further information about circle times and other planned activities can be found on the weekly planning sheet displayed near the main entrance.
