Partnership with Parents

We feel it is very important to work in partnership with parents. We welcome parent’s comments and suggestions and feel it is important to consult on a regular basis.

During your child’s settling in period you will be introduced to your child’s key carer and they will gather all the information they can from you about your child. We like to make sure that children's time at our nursery is as happy and as informative as possible. We will discuss your child’s dietary requirements and preferences, sleep patterns, play and general behaviour to ensure that we can work together to follow your child’s routine.

When you come and pick up your child we provide you with your child’s daily sheet, with all the information about your child’s day.

Newsletters are e-mailed out weekly and the parents’ board is displayed in our entrance which proves to be a good way for us to communicate. We also send out questionnaires on a regular basis, in order to help us improve the smooth running of our nursery.

Importantly, parents can visit us at any time of the day to take part in the nursery activities and we invite you to talk more closely with your child’s key carer and the team during bi-annual parent’s evenings, subject to the COVID Pandemic.
